i dont just mean in the islamic world but in the world of ex jwd.. i am so thankful that at the time i was seeking help and new ideas this board did not ritually hang draw and quarter those who wanted to hang on to thier witness views (even thought they were already swimming alone in a pacific ocean with no boat in sight).

we need to be kind to those we disagree with, not make them feel like satan.. why complain about shunning when we treat those who disagree with our views just as badly.. reniaa is now going back to the cult because there were too many judgmental posts - some of which i found very offensive because they disrespected her as a person.. all of us matter.

so many come here hoping for support.

speaking from my own experience . . .

Pre-internet . . . .I was out for 10+ years. . . came upon some hard times/personal demons . . . I bolted back to the kult because it was a familiar place with very well defined boundaries.

I fully understand why she is doing what she is . .

Some of the posters here SHOULD be burned at the stake for being such A$$holes.

Did you ever really have true blue friends being a Witness?

looking back i don't think i really ever had any good friends being witness, cause if i would have some out of all those people and so called friends i thought i had, you would think one of them would have looked me up over the years.

i was talking to a dub the other day about how the genesis account cannot be true, becuase archeologists have found hundreds - maybe thousands - of human remains and artifacts that predate 4000 b.c.. their response?

"they're all lies made up to get research grants.".

at least four other people, including a woman eight months pregnant, were taken to hospitals for observation or minor injuries, and the store in valley stream on long island closed for several hours before reopening.

nassau police said about 2,000 people were gathered outside the store doors at the mall about 20 miles east of manhattan.
